Carole Witt is the Director of Christian Education. She resources all areas of Christian education, including Sunday School and Workshop Rotations for children, the LOGOS ministry, Confirmation, Vacation Bible School, Intergenerational events, and Older Adult programs. She is very passionate about everyone having the opportunity to “catch the faith” and live their faith out each day. Carole began her career at Opequon in September of 2002. She has a Masters of Education degree from James Madison University and has taken Christian Education courses through Union/PSCE and at National Conventions. Carole’s service at Opequon enables her to use skills of coordination and organization in pulling ideas from many directions together. She is creative and resourceful and she works with so many different ages and groups. She has served on the Resource Committee for Shenandoah Presbytery, attends Presbytery meetings often, is currently a member of Presbytery’s Committee on Ministry, and frequently attends the National Christian Educator’s Conference. Carole is married to Pastor David, They are parents of 3 adult children. Carole loves to walk, cook, bake, write notes, and share hospitality with others.
